Williams Jet Tenders, Soproyacht's partner brand and the leading name in luxury yacht tenders, have launched their latest improved models, the SportJet 460 and SportJet 520. These innovative tenders, which were unveiled last week, represent a significant evolution in design and functionality, with features that promise to enhance the experience for owners.
SportJet 460 and 520: Innovation Meets Comfort
The new SportJet 460 and 520 models are a testament to Williams’ commitment to innovation and quality. A standout feature is the completely redesigned helm, which now includes a sleek glass cockpit. This modern update not only elevates the visual appeal of the tenders but also improves ergonomics, ensuring that the helmsman can navigate with ease and precision.
Further enhancing the user experience, Williams has refined the mechanism for adjusting the backrest. With two simple black tabs, the backrest can now be effortlessly moved forward, creating a generous sun pad area for relaxation—an ideal space to enjoy the tender's comfort and versatility.
The bathing platform, a key element of any SportJet model, has also been upgraded. The new Active Footrest is a foldable feature that offers rear-facing passengers a comfortable footrest. Additionally, it serves as an effective backwash protector, ensuring passengers remain dry even in challenging conditions.
The foredeck of both models has been meticulously designed to optimize seating layout and accessibility. A new boarding route has been introduced, emphasising safety and ergonomics. Passengers can now navigate from the foredeck to the parent yacht with ease, using a thoughtfully integrated step pad and boarding post.
Another update is the revised seat pattern, which builds on the design of previous SportJet models. This new pattern aligns with the updated aesthetics of the 460 and 520, adding a touch of modernity while retaining the signature style that Williams is known for.
The SportJet 520, with its additional 60 cm in length, offers an L-shaped seating configuration at the front, providing more space for passengers and extra storage. This model is also available with a powerful 230 horsepower supercharged Rotax engine, capable of reaching speeds of up to 56 miles per hour.
