Williams Jet Tenders' Electric EvoJet Marks a Bold Step in Sustainable Superyacht Tenders

Building on the success of the EvoJet 70 launched in 2019, the Electric EvoJet, unveiled at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, represents a major step forward in sustainable marine innovation, combining luxury, high performance, and eco-conscious design.

With a powerful zero-emission propulsion system, the Electric EvoJet delivers an impressive top speed of 40 mph while maintaining the high-end features owners expect. The tender seats up to 13 passengers and includes a carbon fibre T-Top, ski pole, ample storage, premium audio system, and LED deck lights. It also incorporates cutting-edge electric technology, including a 58.5kWh lithium-ion battery and a custom Garmin multi-function display that offers real-time insights into battery range, temperature, and charge status.

Charging the Electric EvoJet is quick and efficient, with a fast charger providing full power in just one hour, delivering 56 minutes of operation—ideal for superyacht tenders. Visually, the tender stands out with a striking blue outline along the top flash of the tubes, symbolising its advanced, environmentally friendly engineering.

Mathew Hornsby, Commercial Director at Williams Jet Tenders, commented: “We are thrilled to introduce the Electric EvoJet as a technology demonstrator. It’s exciting to showcase what’s possible with electric propulsion and to explore opportunities for integration with superyachts. The launch is part of Williams’ commitment to reducing emissions and advancing sustainability in the marine industry.”

The Electric EvoJet highlights how luxury and sustainability can coexist, and we are excited to see how this model will shape the next generation of superyacht tenders.
