The NEW 41 is designed for those who desire long-range cruising with ease, offering impressive autonomy whether powered by a traditional internal combustion engine or an advanced all-electric drivetrain. Equipped with up to 3,000 watts of solar power, lithium batteries, and options for wind and hydro generators, the electric version represents the latest in sustainable marine technology, continuing Fountaine Pajot’s pioneering efforts in eco-friendly sailing.
In terms of performance, the NEW 41 delivers beyond expectations. With an increased draft of 5 feet and deep sacrificial keels, the boat's upwind capabilities have been significantly enhanced. These design tweaks, along with an optimised hull shape and expanded sail plan, position the NEW 41 as a true performance cruiser, capable of tackling extended passages while still being agile and easy to handle in coastal waters.
