International Multihull Show 2025 Wraps Up with Strong Momentum for the New 41

The 2025 edition of the International Multihull Show has officially come to a close in La Grande-Motte, reaffirming its role as one of the most important events in the multihull calendar. Soproyachts was present once again, meeting with clients, industry partners, and enthusiasts to discuss current trends and showcase the latest from Fountaine Pajot.

Although not present at the show, the centre of attention for Fountaine Pajot this year was the New 41, a catamaran that’s already making an impression ahead of its official debut. The model was nominated for Multihull of the Year 2025 in the Sail Cruising category and secured a strong second place, receiving 18.25% of votes. Given that the New 41 hasn’t yet had its world premiere, this result highlights both market anticipation and the confidence it’s already generating.

Ahead of the show, Multihulls Magazine carried out the first sea trials of the New 41 in La Rochelle. Emmanuel Van Deth, editor-in-chief, described the catamaran as immediately impressive, praising its stability, manoeuvrability, and the refinement of its design. The layout offers fluid movement between spaces, ample sunbathing areas, and a mid-height helm station that provides excellent visibility while maintaining close interaction with the crew.

The combination of comfort, intelligent space planning, and sailing performance reflects a new generation of design thinking at Fountaine Pajot. With growing interest already visible at this early stage, the New 41 is clearly positioned to become one of the standout models in its class.

The official world premiere of the New 41 is scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place from 9 to 14 September 2025 at Port Canto.

Soproyachts will continue to follow the rollout of this model closely and looks forward to welcoming future owners and sailing enthusiasts on board later this year.
