FIM Motoscafi at the Cannes Yachting Festival: A Showcase of Innovation and Luxury

Get ready to immerse yourself in a new realm of luxury and innovation as Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi (FIM) makes waves at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival. From September 10 to 15, 2024, FIM will showcase two extraordinary models that are set to redefine elegance and performance on the water: the 440 Regina and the eagerly anticipated world premiere of the 500 Regina.

The Future: The 500 Regina

FIM's 500 Regina represents the zenith of their open walk-around range, embodying a fusion of cutting-edge design, performance, and sustainability. Building on the success of its predecessors, the 500 Regina introduces an array of refined features and innovations that elevate it to the pinnacle of modern nautical design.

The standout feature? An awe-inspiring carbon-fiber hardtop that seamlessly integrates with the windshield, providing an elegantly sheltered helm position. This state-of-the-art hardtop is not only a visual marvel but also houses 3kW of solar panels to power the yacht’s systems and keep the batteries charged, showcasing FIM’s dedication to eco-friendly solutions.

Beneath this striking top, the 500 Regina’s deck space is meticulously crafted for versatility and comfort. The foredeck features a two-part sundeck with a sliding front section, transforming into an aft-facing bench for sunbathing or lounging. Fold-down terraces on either side of the cockpit expand the deck area, while pop-up backrests offer flexible seating arrangements. A large hydraulic bathing platform and tender garage enhance the yacht's functionality.

Stepping below deck, you'll discover two generously appointed cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite amidships boasts an offset berth and a playful glass-walled shower that opens into the cabin, adding a touch of modern luxury. The VIP suite in the bow is equally inviting, ensuring comfort for all guests.

Returning Favorite: The 440 Regina

The 440 Regina, which premiered in last year's Cannes Yachting Festival will also be present, offering visitors a chance to explore its dynamic design and transformative features. The 440 Regina is known for its adaptable open spaces, including an innovative open hardtop with rotating slats that merge automotive inspiration with nautical functionality. The versatile cockpit area includes foldable terraces, a convertible dining space, and a hydraulic stern lift platform, perfect for both relaxing and entertaining.

This model emphasizes sustainability with its use of recycled carbon fiber, enhancing the boat's efficiency and stability while reflecting FIM’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The 440 Regina’s interior is equally impressive, featuring a spacious layout with a fully equipped galley, adaptable dinette, and luxurious cabins designed for both comfort and customisation.

Both the 440 Regina and the 500 Regina stand as testaments to FIM’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and refined craftsmanship. As Corrado Piccinelli, FIM’s founder, states, "The 500 Regina embodies our dedication to creating unparalleled maritime experiences. From its cutting-edge design to its eco-friendly features, every detail is crafted to ensure that our clients enjoy a truly extraordinary boating lifestyle."
