Beneteau to Launch New Oceanis 47 and 52 at Cannes Yachting Festival 2025

Beneteau will introduce two new models in its Oceanis cruising range this autumn: the Oceanis 47 and Oceanis 52. These eighth-generation yachts will make their world debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, held from 9 to 14 September, underscoring Beneteau’s continued focus on balanced design, reliable sailing performance, and adaptable living spaces for long-distance cruising.

The Oceanis 47, designed by Finot-Conq with interiors by Nauta Design, builds on nearly 40 years of Oceanis development. The hull features well-defined chines for added stability, delivering a stable ride while maintaining responsive handling under sail. Deck layouts have been refined for ease of movement, with a choice between open and closed cockpit configurations. A full-beam cockpit stretches to the transom, maximising usable space for manoeuvring, socialising, or relaxing at anchor.

The cockpit design incorporates comfortable seating, twin tables that can be folded away to improve flow, and optional biminis in fixed or folding versions for better protection from sun and weather. The open cockpit version offers direct access to the sea, while the closed layout adds aft seating with integrated lockers, which can double as an outdoor galley with a plancha grill.

Inside, the Oceanis 47 offers multiple layout options, including a three-cabin, two-head configuration. Interior finishes are available in three palettes: Sunset, Pacific, and Ivory. The saloon and galley prioritise practical comfort, with solid work surfaces, well-thought-out storage, and seating designed for long stays aboard. Large hull windows and overhead hatches ensure plenty of natural light. For sailors seeking enhanced performance, a First Line option adds a taller mast and an overlapping genoa.

The larger Oceanis 52 is co-designed by Roberto Biscontini and Nauta Design. It is a direct evolution of the successful Oceanis 51.1 and offers 30% more cockpit space while retaining a focus on hull performance and ergonomic sail handling. The cockpit features twin rudders for precise control, C-shaped benches that form a clear circulation path, and a central social area with built-in refrigeration and grill. The layout is optimised for safe and easy handling, even with a small crew, with primary and secondary winches separated for clear line management.

Below decks, the Oceanis 52 offers an upgraded owner’s suite with a wide 160 cm double berth, generous storage including multiple lockers and drawers, and large windows for natural light and sea views. The saloon and galley have been designed to be practical for extended trips, with high-capacity refrigeration (up to 450 litres in some configurations), durable Corian worktops, and customisable layout and trim options. The interior design reflects Beneteau’s push for quieter, more comfortable living on board, with improved soundproofing and carefully selected lighting.

Production of both new models will begin following their Cannes premiere. Soproyachts, as Beneteau’s official partner in Portugal, will be available to help clients explore these next-generation cruisers, review configuration options, and plan for deliveries expected in late 2025 and 2026.
