Beneteau announces the launch of the new OCEANIS 37.1

Beneteau, our partner brand, announced the launch of the new Oceanis 37.1, the latest addition to the seventh generation of Oceanis sailing cruisers. Its public debut is set at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 12 to 17, 2023, where Soproyachts will be present.

Designed by Marc Lombard and Nauta Design, the Oceanis 37.1 promises to be a versatile and harmonious cruiser. Its flared hull enhances stability, power, rigidity, and provides more volume inside the bow, making it comfortable and easy to sail.

With greater volume and improved performance, the Oceanis 37.1 is a true Oceanis, renewing the model in a way that retains the hallmark ease of use that has been a key feature of Oceanis cruisers since their launch in 1986.

The Oceanis 37.1 offers four different cabin and head layout options: 2 cabins and 1 standard head, 2 cabins and 1 head shower, 3 cabins and 1 head, and 3 cabins and 2 heads.

The cruiser’s spacious saloon is offset to port with a sofa for relaxing, a comfortable table for six, and a galley facing lengthwise.

The sensation of space continues in the vast and extremely open 3m long cockpit with a foldable central table. The helm seats can also be lifted to lower a bathing platform.

The outdoor space is very open with the absence of backstay, a layout used successfully in the Oceanis 30.1 and 34.1.

The decking in Iroko is a great alternative to teak, made up of several laminated layers, guaranteeing a uniform color, excellent sustainability, and ruling out the risk of cracks.

For a cruising program on inland waterways, carbon-free sailing is available with an electric motor with a 12 kW pod and 10 kWh batteries, enough for a cruising range of 2 hours at 5 knots.
