At this year's Boot Düsseldorf, FIM presented exclusive details of the 500 Regina, set to become the brand's flagship for the upcoming season. The 500 Regina's worldwide premiere is scheduled for September 2024 (possibly at Cannes Yachting Festival 2024?), and while information is scarce, enthusiasts can expect a vessel that carries the signature FIM design elements, including the distinctive hard top integrated into the windscreen and fixed side windows.
Renowned designer Alessandro Loittici, of Design Alot firm, is rumoured to have lent his creative touch to the 500 Regina, continuing the successful collaboration that brought us the stunning 440 model in 2023. The rendered images of the 500 Regina hint at similar lines and aesthetics, reflecting FIM's commitment to maintaining a cohesive and visually appealing fleet.
One of the standout features of the 500 Regina is its integration of a 3 kW photovoltaic panel system, a nod towards sustainability and eco-friendly navigation.
The 500 Regina will boast a spacious tender garage, capable of accommodating a jet rib (perfect for a Williams Jet Tender!). The hybrid layout, featuring a center console and a sport cruiser lower deck, has been a customer favourite in previous models, and it's expected to continue to win accolades with the 500 Regina.
With the 500 Regina, FIM is poised to set new standards in the world of luxury yachts, solidifying their reputation. Soproyachts eagerly awaits the official debut of the 500 Regina, anticipating another masterpiece from Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi.
