Description
1981 Sun Fizz presented in very good overall condition, benefiting from numerous structural and technical upgrades over the years, making this yacht particularly well suited for long-distance cruising and comfortable liveaboard use.
The hull has undergone a complete anti-osmosis treatment, including refurbishment of the underwater sections, as well as reinforcement of the hull-to-deck joint, ensuring enhanced structural integrity and peace of mind at sea. The engine access from the cockpit has also been improved, and a custom stern platform has been added for easier access and increased onboard comfort.
On deck, the yacht features a stainless-steel arch and aft gantry with solar panel supports, complemented by a windshield and additional handrails on the coachroof, improving both safety and functionality.
The engine was replaced and remains in good overall condition, with renewed engine alignment and silent blocks, while the heat exchanger was serviced recently. Through-hulls have also been replaced.
Designed for short-handed sailing, the deck equipment includes quality hardware such as stainless steel ANDERSEN winches and HARKEN ball-bearing cars. The electrical system has been modernized with recent batteries and two 100W solar panels, providing excellent energy autonomy.
The yacht is also equipped with an NKE autopilot system featuring a LECOMBLE & SCHMIT hydraulic ram, together with a spare computer unit, offering reliable and precise steering performance offshore.
