The Reveal of the Beneteau First 30

The long-awaited Beneteau First 30 made its highly anticipated debut at Boot Düsseldorf 2025, marking a milestone in performance cruising. Following its initial reveal at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, this latest addition to the Beneteau First range has generated immense interest among sailors and enthusiasts.

A Tribute to a Legendary Lineage

Designed in collaboration with Seascape, the First 30 embodies Beneteau's commitment to innovation while paying homage to the original First 30 from 1977. Naval architect Samuel Manuard and designer Lorenzo Argento have crafted a vessel that seamlessly blends high performance with modern comfort. The result is a cruiser that offers exhilarating speed and responsiveness, making sailing accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of sailors.

Performance and Practicality

With a length of 10.33 meters and a displacement of 3,150 kg, the First 30 is built for agility and speed. Its planing hull ensures smooth sailing even in moderate winds, while the refined deck layout allows for effortless handling. The cockpit features well-positioned winches and intuitive rigging, catering to both seasoned racers and weekend cruisers.

Two distinct configurations offer versatility: the cruising version prioritises ease of use and comfort, while the performance variant enhances speed and precision. Whether for competitive sailing or leisurely exploration, the First 30 delivers an engaging experience on the water.

Interior Designed for Comfort

Below deck, the First 30 presents a well-thought-out layout with smart storage solutions and a contemporary aesthetic. The forward cabin offers a spacious berth, while the aft cabin provides additional sleeping space. The saloon, designed with comfort in mind, can accommodate up to six people on plush seating, creating a welcoming atmosphere for socialising or dining.

The galley and wet room maintain a minimalist yet functional design, ensuring practicality without unnecessary complexity. Thoughtful lighting, including indirect LED strips and reading lights, enhances the ambiance, adding a touch of refinement to the interior space.

Innovation and Future Collaborations

In addition to the FIRST 30's reveal, Beneteau has also announced an exciting new partnership with Alpine. This collaboration promises to bring together the innovation and expertise of both brands, blending Beneteau's marine engineering with Alpine's motorsport heritage. Through this partnership, both companies aim to push the boundaries of design and technology, providing customers with exclusive opportunities and a new range of limited-edition projects in the future.

Looking Ahead

Boot Düsseldorf 2025 was an incredible showcase for Beneteau, reaffirming its dedication to excellence in sailing. For those who missed the event, next year’s Boot Düsseldorf is scheduled for 17 - 25 January 2026.
