From 14 to 18 October, Port Vell will once again host one of the Mediterranean’s leading boating events. The 2026 Barcelona International Boat Show brings together more than 200 boats and some of the industry’s leading brands, in a unique setting in the heart of the city.
This year’s edition goes beyond the display of sailing yachts, catamarans and motorboats. The programme also extends to marinas and boating destinations, equipment and services, diving and water sports, experiences at sea and other activities connected to Mediterranean culture.
For those following this year’s latest launches or considering a new boat, Barcelona will also be an opportunity to explore a selection of Fountaine Pajot and Beneteau Sail models, with the Soproyachts team present throughout the show.
FP48 and FP55 make their Spanish debut
Following their world premieres at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the new FP48 and FP55 continue their international journey and will now make their first appearance at the Barcelona show.
At almost 15 metres, the FP48 succeeds the Tanna 47 and has been designed to make cruising simple and intuitive, even with a small crew. The different configurations available, including Full Maestro, Classic Maestro and Quintet, allow the interior to be adapted to different ways of using the boat.
The FP55 takes the Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans range to a new level. At almost 17 metres, it is the largest catamaran in the range and the first to feature a helm station on the flybridge. The direct connection between the cockpit and forward area creates a continuous flow between the outdoor spaces, while the different interior configurations include the Double Maestro version, with two independent full suites, one in each hull.
Alongside these two new models, Fountaine Pajot will also present the FP41 and the FP44, offering the opportunity to explore different sizes and concepts within the shipyard’s sailing catamaran range.
Beneteau Sail: Oceanis and First in Barcelona
Beneteau Sail will be represented by four sailing yachts: the Oceanis 34.1, Oceanis 47, Oceanis 52 and First 60.
With three Oceanis models on display, visitors will be able to experience different options within Beneteau’s cruising range. At 10.77 metres, the Oceanis 34.1 will be the most compact model in the line-up, followed by the Oceanis 47 at 14.6 metres and the Oceanis 52 at 16.28 metres.
Completing the display will be the First 60, recently nominated for the European Yacht of the Year 2027 award. At 18.95 metres, it is the largest First ever built by Beneteau.
Having these four sailing yachts together at the same show provides a useful opportunity to understand the differences between the Oceanis and First ranges and consider which concept best suits your sailing plans.
