A Success Before It Hits the Water: Fountaine Pajot’s New 41 Nominated for a Multihull of the Year Award

Fountaine Pajot’s New 41 catamaran has been nominated for Multihull of the Year 2025 in the "Cruising" category, an honor that reflects its cutting-edge design, exceptional performance, and commitment to sustainable sailing.

Unveiled at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival, the New 41 has already captured the attention of sailing enthusiasts worldwide. Its innovative features, spacious design, and eco-friendly technology make it a standout model in the multihull market. Even before its official launch, the demand for this catamaran has been remarkable. The first unit is set to be launched this February, following an exclusive preview at the Fountaine Pajot Open Days in La Rochelle from July 3 to 5, 2025.

After its worldwide premiere, the New 41 will embark on an international tour, making its grand debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in the autumn before appearing at the Genoa Boat Show and Annapolis Boat Show in the USA.

The New 41

Designed for both comfort and performance, the New 41 is available in two configurations:

  1. Quatuor Version: 4 double cabins for maximum accommodation

  2. Maestro Version: 3 double cabins, including an expansive 14m² owner’s suite on the port side.

Every detail has been refined to enhance onboard living. A redesigned helm station, increased relaxation areas, and improved accessibility—including a repositioned plancha grill and lower step heights—make this catamaran both practical and luxurious.

Under sail, the New 41 offers outstanding performance. Its hull design ensures greater stability, while optimised ergonomics allow for seamless movement throughout the vessel. Additionally, eco-navigation is a core feature, with integrated solar panels on the coachroof and optional 2,300W solar panels replacing the bow trampolines. Owners can also opt for the ODSea+ pack, which enhances autonomy with expanded lithium battery capacity and hybrid electric motors.
